Please bring comments in a written form for the GMA board or email to spcgcd@yahoo.com.  A public hearing will be held on July 24 at the Emergency Dome in Sinton. The election is scheduled for November 3, 2026. The filing period opens on July 18 and ends on August 17. The following are up for reelection: Joe Pullin, JP precinct 8, Matt Setliif, JP precinct 2, Clarence Chopelas, JP precinct 5, JP precinct 6 is vacant, also the at-large may be up as well currently Levi Canales is serving that position.      The San Patricio County Groundwater Conservation District (SPCGCD) is committed to management and protection of the groundwater resources of San Patricio County. SPCGCD is committed to maintaining a sustainable, adequate, reliable, cost effective, high quality source of groundwater to promote the vitality, economy, and environment of the County. SPCGCD will work with and for the citizens and landowners of the County and cooperate with other local, regional, and state agencies involved in study and management of groundwater. SPCGCD will take no action without full consideration of the groundwater needs of the citizens of the County.
